Vastu Shastra is an ancient Indian architectural guide based on natural laws and energies. Following its principles is believed to bring prosperity, peace, and harmony into your living space.

Key Vastu Categories:

  1. Bhoomi (Land Selection):

    • Choose plots with regular shapes (square or rectangular).
    • Avoid sites near hospitals or graveyards to minimize negative energy.
    • A plot sloping from south to north or west to east is considered auspicious.

  2. Prasada (Buildings and Structures):

    • Main Entrance: It should face east or north to invite positive energy.
    • Living Room: Place it in the northeast direction to attract calmness.
    • Kitchen: Ideal in the southeast corner; the cooking person should face east.
    • Bedroom: The southwest corner promotes restful sleep and stability.
    • Bathrooms: Preferably in the northwest or west to avoid negative influence.

  3. Yana (Vehicles, Carts & Ships):

    • Park vehicles in the northwest or southeast part of the premises.
    • Avoid parking in the northeast direction, as it’s linked to prosperity.

  4. Sayana (Furniture & Tools):

    • Beds: Place them with the head towards the south for restful sleep.
    • Study Tables: Face east to improve concentration and learning.
    • Mirrors: Avoid placing mirrors in bedrooms facing the bed, as it’s believed to create restlessness.

  • Declutter regularly: Removing unused items enhances positive energy flow.
